Sharjah 24: For the fourth year in a row, the Al Khaldiyah Suburb Council, which is part of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department, has launched its community initiative "Eid Fruits Treat" to bring joy to deserving families in the Al Khaldiyah suburb on the occasion of Eid al-Adha 2024.The initiative is part of the council's commitment to social activities that aim to offer citizens joy and happiness throughout Eid.
The initiative included the distribution of substantial quantities (205 large fruit baskets) to qualified households in the Al Khaldiyah area. The council's volunteer committee helped deliver the fruit baskets.
Chairman of the Khalidiyah Suburb Council, Khalfan Saeed Al-Marri, emphasized the council's commitment to undertaking such projects, which aim to develop social interactions between the council and its people while supplementing the council's regular efforts.
According to Al Marri, the initiative's purpose is to create social solidarity and contribute to sharing the joy of Eid al-Adha with the community, which aligns with the council's successful social work duties.
