The event celebrated outstanding students from kindergarten to high school, across public and private schools, and also recognised students with disabilities in appreciation of their efforts and perseverance throughout the school year.
The ceremony embodied the vision of Sharjah’s wise leadership to foster a culture of excellence and to recognise sincere efforts in the educational field. The event saw a strong turnout of community and educational figures, led by His Excellency Dr Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department, His Excellency Obaid Jumaa Al Hurrah Al Marashda, Chairman of Kalba Parents Council, along with representatives of educational institutions, parents, and students.
This celebration falls within the Council’s ongoing efforts to recognise and appreciate the achievements of students across all educational stages and to promote moral encouragement. It aligns with the Department’s strategic direction to empower local councils in supporting the educational process and contributing effectively to building a confident generation capable of shaping its future with creativity and distinction.
The ceremony opened with a speech by the Council Chairman, His Excellency Obaid Jumaa Al Hurrah, who expressed his pride in this annual gathering that elevates the value of education and highlights the essential role parents play in encouraging their children to strive for success and excellence.
He affirmed that the Kalba Parents Council remains committed to strengthening the concept of community partnership in education, always placing students’ academic and emotional development at the heart of its priorities. He noted that this recognition is the fruit of close cooperation between families, schools, and community institutions.
The ceremony featured a number of expressive performances by the students, reflecting themes of ambition, national pride, and a strong sense of belonging to the community. One of the top-performing students delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing deep gratitude to their families, teachers, and everyone who supported their journey towards success.
The event concluded with Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi honouring the outstanding students—from kindergarten to high school across both public and private schools—as well as students with disabilities. The honourees stepped onto the stage to receive their awards in an atmosphere of pride and celebration, reaping the rewards of their hard work and determination, amidst enthusiastic applause and warm congratulations from parents who shared in their children’s moment of achievement.
