Sharjah24: Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, which is part of the Districts & Villages Affairs Department in Sharjah, recently conducted its 27th regular meeting in the year 2023. The main focus of the meeting was to explore ways of improving communication with citizens and enhancing social interaction within the local community. The council aimed to create broader opportunities for community engagement.
Under the leadership of His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Khalfan Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiyah Suburb Council, the meeting discussed new plans and strategies. They aimed to achieve better interaction with citizens by organising open dialogues and collaborative workshops under the initiative "Yalstna" (Our Dialogue). The goal was to empower the suburb's residents to actively participate in various events and programmes and contribute effectively to the development and service aspects of the area.
During the meeting, Al Marri stressed the significance of this national effort in enhancing consultation and fostering a cooperative spirit between the council and the local community. He also highlighted the importance of collaborating with partners from the government, private sector, and other entities. This collaboration aimed to enrich all programmes and initiatives, reflecting the council's dedication to promoting the development of the suburb and improving the quality of life for its citizens.
