The competition was launched to honour school councils that excelled in their performance and community and educational engagement. This comes as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the role of parents in supporting the educational process and instilling the concept of effective community partnership.
The tallying process extended over three consecutive days at the council's headquarters, with the participation of a select group of Parents Council members and under the supervision of a specialised committee with expertise in institutional and educational evaluation.
All participating files were reviewed according to precise and objective criteria, including the quality of community initiatives, the level of parent engagement, support for the educational process, the creativity of activities, and the sustainability of projects that connect the school to the community.
The Council praised the level of positive competition among participating schools, stressing that this interaction reflects school councils' awareness of the important role of parents as partners in the educational process, and their commitment to providing a supportive and stimulating educational environment for our students.
In a statement, His Excellency Muhannad Abdullah Al Bustani, Chairman of the Sharjah Parents Council, explained that the award serves as a practical model for honouring sincere efforts and an incentive to foster a spirit of cooperation between parents and teaching staff. He noted that the evaluation took into account concrete achievements and their relevance to national goals for developing education and promoting citizenship and belonging.
Al Bustani pointed out that the Council, under the supervision SDAD, continues to adopt qualitative initiatives that enhance community interaction with schools and highlight the pivotal role of parents in advancing the educational system, striving to build balanced and informed generations.
