Additionally, they closely monitored men's and women's barbershops to ensure compliance with health regulations. The Public Health Department also implemented an awareness campaign on the dangers of slaughter outside the slaughterhouse. The campaign aimed to spread awareness among the public, commercial license holders, and butcher shops of the negatives of random slaughter in homes and other places not prepared for slaughter and to highlight the importance of veterinary examination to verify the suitability of carcasses for consumption. During the campaign, an educational leaflet about the dangers of slaughter outside slaughterhouses was distributed, and department officials confirmed the intensification of surprise inspection campaigns in stores throughout the days of Eid to ensure the health and safety of the public.
The lifeguard services at Khorfakkan beaches have been improved to uphold safety standards for beach visitors, guaranteeing everyone's safety while they enjoy their time at the beach.
Regarding sales outlets and markets, we are intensifying campaigns and inspection tours to monitor and ensure compliance with safety instructions and conditions. The fruit and vegetable market will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. throughout Eid and the day of Arafa.
