Sharjah 24: Sharjah Charity International (SCI), as part of its "Building Mosques" initiative, has announced that it has begun accepting donations for the tenth of Dhul Hijjah. The funds raised, amounting to 200,000 AED, will build five mosques in India.
Those who would like to undertake more acts of devotion during these blessed times can do so easily using SCI's contribution options, according to Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Ali, director of the projects and external aid department.

A smart link allows users to donate to charity via a variety of methods, including bank transfers, credit cards, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and SMS. Donors who would rather have a representative from SCI pick up their gifts can do so by calling the toll-free number 80014.

The target amount, according to Al Ali, is 200,000 AED, with 40,000 AED allocated for every mosque. With an average of 73 worshippers per mosque, these five mosques can hold a grand total of 365 people.

Before selecting mosque sites, a regional office of SCI conducted a geographic assessment, prioritising locations with the greatest need for public and service initiatives, including mosque building.

He extended an invitation to generous individuals and organisations to support SCI through their convenient contribution channels, which include smart donation screens, SCI's website, bank transfers via the smart link, credit cards, and text messages.

Contributions in cash can also be made at any of SCI's branch locations or by contacting one of their contribution collection representatives.
