Sharjah24: Under the patronage and in the presence of Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council organised its annual ceremony at the Dibba Al Hisn Cultural Centre Theatre to honour outstanding students and top high school achievers in recognition of their unlimited efforts in achieving excellent results .

Wide official and community participation

The ceremony was attended by Dr Abdullah Suleiman Al Kabouri, Director of the Department of Suburbs Affairs, along with members of the Municipal Council, the Federal National Council (FNC)  and the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) . Senior representatives from federal and local government entities, educational institutions, parents and more than 115 members of the community also attended.

Supporting excellence through community partnership

The event forms part of the council’s annual operational plan and strategic objectives to strengthen cooperation between schools, parents and the wider community to recognise outstanding students, encourage academic excellence and creativity, and reinforce a culture of achievement in appreciation of the efforts made by students, their families and educational institutions.

Honouring educational leaders and top achievers

The ceremony also recognised educational leaders from schools across Dibba Al Hisn in appreciation of their role in advancing the education sector and nurturing a generation equipped with a high-quality education.

A total of 26 outstanding students and top high school graduates from across the city were honoured, in addition to the highest-achieving secondary school students from the Al Kharous area, reflecting the council’s commitment to recognising students throughout the region.

National operetta celebrates family values

The programme featured a patriotic operetta titled Our Nation is Prosperous, held in conjunction with the UAE's Year of the Family. The performance portrayed the nation's story and highlighted the role of the Emirati family in fostering unity and shaping future leaders. It also showcased the values of belonging, loyalty and national identity through an engaging artistic presentation supervised by council member Sheikha Al Hindasi and Nahed Al Kaabi.

Council highlights commitment to student success

Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, stated that the annual ceremony reflects the council’s ongoing commitment to supporting outstanding students, motivating them to continue their academic success, and strengthening the role of families and schools as key partners in preparing future generations capable of innovation and leadership, in line with the UAE’s vision of investing in people and developing national talent.
