Al Shamsi: PSA explores "Challenges of Natural Disasters"

Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, announced that the Police Science Academy (PSA) organised a scientific conference titled "Challenges of Crises and Natural Disasters." The purpose of the conference was to address the significant obstacles that the state has been dealing with, specifically in relation to recent weather disturbances.
The goal was to examine successful strategies, exchange insights, and foster collaboration and unity among all organisations involved in emergency and crisis management.

A wide range of dignitaries and professionals from government departments and institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah and the country attended the event. Among the attendees were prominent figures such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, and Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs.

In an interview with “Sharjah24”, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi highlighted the purpose of the conference, which is to address the significant challenges caused by recent weather depressions. The conference aims to examine the most effective strategies and recommendations that have emerged from this event.

Al Shamsi added that the conference features a distinguished group of speakers experienced in disaster and crisis management at the national level in the security and community sectors.. He highlighted the significance of the conference as a platform for open dialogue, exchanging insights and perspectives, and fostering collaboration among various stakeholders involved in emergency and crisis management institutions. He expressed his gratitude to all the attendees for being present and for contributing to the conference.
