Sharjah24: The handball team of Sharjah Sports Club emerged victorious in the UAE Handball League, securing their eighteenth title in the club's history and their eighth consecutive win. Their latest victory came after defeating Shabab Al Ahli on Tuesday at the Al Bataeh Club's arena. Sharjah's victory was solidified with a final score of 25-20, showcasing their clear dominance in the sport.
Sharjah has achieved an incredible accomplishment this season, clinching multiple recognised titles such as the Super Cup, the Federation Cup, and the Emirates Cup. Their latest victory in the league adds to their impressive collection of local triumphs. In addition, they have achieved success in the UAE-Bahrain Super Cup and are strong contenders for the upcoming President's Cup.
The award ceremony saw the presence of several dignitaries and notable figures such as His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council; His Excellency Ghanim Al Hajeri, Director General of the General Authority for Sports; His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Club; Nabil Ashour, President of the UAE Handball Federation, and other members from both the UAE Handball Federation Board and the Sharjah Sports Club Board.
