Player Raisa Al Falasi earned the first gold medal for the UAE in the women’s boccia competitions, in the “PC4” category. Al Falasi also added to the UAE the second gold medal with player Hamdan Al Kaabi, in the “PC4” category (My Doubles).
Emirati player Khalid Al Marashdeh won the silver medal, in the men's competitions in the "PC2" category. Player Omar Al Falasi won the bronze medal in the "PC3" category, and player Hamdan Al Kaabi won the bronze medal in the "PC4" category.
Raissa Al Falasi, said that she is happy to earn the first gold medal for the UAE in the competitions of the 4th West Asian Para Games, noting that Boccia is an enjoyable competitive game for players and spectators, explaining that she chose her favourite sport, and knows that it is a difficult game and requires focus and a specific strategy, especially if the most significant disabilities participate in this tournament.
