West Asia Paragames 4 hoists “kick off” flag in Sharjah

Sharjah24: Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the Fourth West Asian Paragames, Sharjah 2024, witnessed the ceremony of hoisting the “West Asia Paralympic Games” flag, on Saturday, at the Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, marking the start of the games.

The games will last until February 3.

Bin Khadim stressed Sharjah’s role in supporting people with disabilities and empowering them in various fields, including sports, pointing out that the emirate’s hosting of the games for the second time in its history reflects its ability to organise such events professionally.
