Sharjah24: This evening, the fourth edition of the West Asian Para Games kicked off at Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled, with the attendance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, the Chairman of the Central Finance Department, and a number of officials and prominent individuals from various West Asian nations.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the Fourth West Asian Para Games, noted that the opening ceremony was unique, featuring diverse segments and programmes. He affirmed the UAE's global standing in hosting international tournaments, serving as a crucial destination for world champions to set new records and prepare for Paralympic competitions.
