In light of the large preparations for the sites to host the 4th West Asian Para Games, Ahmed Salem Hamad Al Mazloum Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the tournament, inspected the sites hosting the fourth edition competitions to review the final preparations of stadiums and different venues holding the competitions, stressing that all the executive committees of the tournament are working in full swing.
Al Suwaidi pointed out that hosting such major event is the result of the care given by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his unlimited support for sports, providing all the capabilities and elements of success for sports for people with disabilities.
Al Suwaidi also appreciated the continuous efforts exerted by Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee, for following up on all the committee’s preparations to host the Fourth West Asian Paralympic Games.
The Executive Director of the tournament also confirmed that the venues hosting the different games had completed their preparations to receive approximately 700 athletes expected to participate in the event, indicating that the great confidence of the West Asian Federation in granting the honour of organising the tournament to the Emirate of Sharjah, represented by Al Thiqa Club for the Disabled, has placed before the Executive Committee major challenges to present something new. This edition reflects the level that befits the name of the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE, stressing his great confidence in all the working executive committees to organise the event in an optimal manner.
