Nada Al Shehhi stated that the Psychological Development Training Programme, organised by the Sharjah Family Development over four months, included 132 training hours through 30 workshops presented by 20 certified trainers in the psychological and counseling fields, to prepare them for the job market.
Speaking exclusively to "Sharjah 24," Al Shehhi explained that the ceremony included a dialogue session entitled "Empowering National Talent and Creating Impact," which discussed the process of qualifying and preparing participants to work in this field. She wished them success in performing their duties in society with high efficiency
The programme aims to qualify and develop specialised personnel in the field of psychological services, and to equip them with professional, scientific and research skills in accordance with the requirements of the labour market.
It also seeks to achieve a number of main objectives, which are: to provide candidates with theoretical knowledge and trends in psychology, to train them to apply scientific thinking in interpreting psychological phenomena, to develop their skills in analysing psychological information and statistical data and preparing reports efficiently, in addition to equipping them with effective communication skills with individuals and groups, to qualify them to provide basic psychological services under supervision, and to support institutions with specialised competencies from graduates of the programme according to contracting with them.
