Sharjah24: The Sharjah Centre for Learning Difficulties (SCLD) has begun the fifth annual 'Exploration Project,' which will run from December 11th through the 21st with the theme "Distinguishing Ourselves through Learning and Creativity" throughout its activities, which were inaugurated today, Monday.
An array of educational professionals and experts from the centre and American Beacon—Florida University—will be presenting during the event's workshops, activities, and educational awareness sessions. The programme's target audience consists of young people (aged 13–22) who are experiencing learning disabilities.

The initiative's stated goal is to help students with learning disabilities develop their critical thinking skills by increasing their understanding of their issues and the steps they may take to overcome them.

In order to guarantee their success, the project's 28 participants are given a knowledge portfolio that covers all their questions and offers solutions.

Director Dr Hanadi Obaid Al Suwaidi of the Sharjah Centre for Learning Difficulties emphasised the centre's determination to carry on the "Exploration Project" that was successful in prior years.

Helping those who struggle academically or socially become more self-sufficient and contributing members of society is the end goal. Due to the project's outstanding track record and excellent yearly activities and programming, she expects a large turnout of children with learning disabilities this year.

According to Dr Hanadi Al-Suwaidi, the 2023 Exploration Project's programmes have been hand-picked to adhere to industry standards worldwide.

She reaffirmed that the curricula this year will be diverse and inclusive, designed to meet the changing needs of students with learning disabilities, and prepare them for the skills employers will be looking for in the future.
