During the session, the Council discussed the Council's standing committees, namely: the Legislative and Legal Affairs, Appeals, Suggestions, and Complaints Committee; the Financial, Economic, and Industrial Affairs Committee; the Education, Youth, Culture, and Media Affairs Committee; the Health, Labour, and Social Affairs Committee; the Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Municipalities, Security, and Public Utilities Affairs Committee; the Family Affairs Committee; and the Recommendations Preparation Committee. The Council approved the reconstitution of the Council's standing committees.
The Legislative and Legal Affairs, Appeals, Suggestions and Complaints Committee included: Mohammed Ali Jaber Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Committee, Obaid Ishaq Al Mazmi, Rapporteur of the Committee, Mohammed Saleh Al Ali, Khalifa Mohammed Bu Ghanem, Hamad Abdullah Hamed Al Riyami. Hamad Abdul Wahab Al Qawadi, and Rashid Saleh Al Hammadi.
The Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee included: Rashid Abdullah Bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Committee, Dr Fatima Khalifa Al Muqrab, Rapporteur of the Committee, Amer Mohammed Al Zarouni, Engineer Nabil Bin Butti Al Muhairi, Abdullah Taresh Al Ketbi, Tariq Murad Mirza Al Balushi, and Mohammed Abdullah Al Balushi.
The Education, Youth, Culture and Media Affairs Committee, it included: Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi, Chair of the Committee, Youssef Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Rapporteur of the Committee, Kalthum Saif Al Tunaiji, Sheikha Khalfan Salem Al Dhanen Al Naqbi, Moza Muadhd Bin Huwaiden, Mohammed Ali Al Mannai, and Dr Ahmed Saleh Al Naqbi.
The Health, Labour, and Social Affairs Committee included: Dr Ruqayya Rashid Al Zaabi, Committee Chair, Dr Hind Saleh Al Hajri, Committee Rapporteur, Mohammed Saleh Al Ali, Issa Abdul Rahim Al Zarouni, Ali Salem Al Shamsi, Fatima Mohammed Khasouni Al Ketbi,and Khalfan Saif Al Masafri.
The Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Municipalities, Security Affairs, and Public Facilities Committee included: Engineer Jamila Mohammed Al Fandi Al Shamsi, Committee Chair, Ahmed Obaid Al Awasiyah Al Zaabi, Committee Rapporteur, Ahmed Rashid Al Shamsi, Sultan Saeed Dalmouk Al Suwaidi, Majid Ahmed Al Darwishi Al Shamsi, Ahmed Salem Humaidi Al Ketbi, Salem Mohammed Al Rashidi
The Family Affairs Committee included: Saeed Matar bin Hamed Al Tunaiji, Committee Chair, Rashid Ghanem Al Shamsi, Committee Rapporteur, Abdullah Ali Al Badawi Al Hosani, Abdullah Rashid Ma'dan Al Ketbi, Abdullah Salem bin Tarish Al Kaabi, Mohammed Ahmad Al Alawi Al Dhahouri, and Humaid Obaid Al Hamoudi.
The committee preparing the draft recommendations included: Jassim Mohammed Al Hanawi Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Committee, Dr Sultan Khamis Al Zaabi, Rapporteur, Ibrahim Mohammed Juma Al Mansouri, Issa Abdullah Al Kalbani, Sultan Ali Al Masafri, Dr Obaid Ahmad Khasaw Al Naqbi, and Mohammed Ali bin Salim Al Ketbi.
The Council also elected Dr Ahmed Saleh Al Naqbi and Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi as Council observers for the current session. The Council’s Bureau consists of His Excellency Dr Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Council; Halima Humaid Al Owais, Vice-Chair; Mohammed Ali Jaber Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Committee; Rashid Abdullah Bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Financial Affairs Committee; Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi, Chairperson of the Education Affairs Committee; Dr Ruqayya Rashid Al Zaabi, Chairperson of the Health Affairs Committee; Engineer Jamila Mohammed Al Fandi Al Shamsi, Chairperson of the Public Utilities Committee; Saeed Matar Bin Hamed Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Family Affairs Committee; Jassim Al Hanawi Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Draft Recommendations Preparation Committee; and Meera Khalifa Al Muqarrab, Rapporteur of the Council’s Bureau.
At the end of the session, the Secretary-General of the Council, Meera Khalifa Al Muqarrab, read out the decrees and laws issued during the period of the Council’s absence, which included Decree-Law No. (1) of 2025 amending some provisions of Law No. (2) of 2023 regarding the organisation of the Sharjah Maritime Academy, Decree-Law No. (2) of 2025 regarding human resources in the Emirate of Sharjah, Decree-Law No. (3) of 2025 amending Decree-Law No. (3) of 2022 regarding the organisation of the Sharjah Fish Resources Authority, and Decree-Law No. (4) of 2025 regarding the dissolution of the Prevention and Safety Authority in the Emirate of Sharjah.
