Al Hamriyah Archery Team wins 3 medals in UAE League

Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Archery Team secured three medals—gold, silver, and bronze—during the first stage of the UAE League for the youth and men’s categories, held at the Sharjah Police Officers Club on 11 and 12 October 2025.

Medal winners

The gold medal was claimed by Indra Chand Swami in the Olympic Bow – Men category, while Abdullah Khalid Al Teneiji won silver in the Olympic Bow Under-21 category. The team also achieved a bronze medal in the 70-metre team event, with the trio of Indra Chand Swami, Abdullah Khalid Al Teneiji, and Abdullah Ali Zadeh.

Recognition and praise

The archery team’s achievement received praise from Salem Al Khayal, Board Member of the club and Head of the Individual Sports and Talents Committee, who commended the players as well as the efforts of the technical and administrative staff in achieving this success.

Coach’s remarks

Team coach Captain Mahmoud Abdulwahab stated that this success reflects the team’s organised work and the strong support from the club’s board of directors. He added that the team aims to continue working diligently in the upcoming stages of the league.
