In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24,” Sheikha Jawaher emphasised that the ceremony marked the culmination of the festival by celebrating the winners in various competition categories, acknowledging their creative vision and innovative works. She added that the festival also recognised the efforts of participants and supporters who contributed to the event’s success, reinforcing its role as a platform that promotes cinematic activity and nurtures emerging talents in the film industry.
The Director of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth pointed out that the current edition attracted a wide audience of visitors, filmmakers and school students, reflecting growing confidence in the festival’s role in refining the skills of younger generations and enriching their visual appreciation.
Sheikha Jawaher concluded by revealing that selected films from this year’s edition will be screened next week at schools in Al Dhaid and Khorfakkan, broadening the reach of the festival’s content and furthering its educational and cultural mission.
