A variety of national songs and chants were part of the festival, which also featured an internationally recognised parade. Heritage and cultural events, contests, and a devotion to one's nation and its great leaders were also on display, as were efforts to honour UAE heritage.
Saeed Maadad Saeed bin Huwaidan Al-Ketbi, the celebration's chief organiser, said that the people of Al Madam show their appreciation for the nation's wise leadership and reaffirm their dedication to the country on this day. The unrelenting efforts of the leadership to elevate the nation and its remarkable and ongoing accomplishments were recognised by everybody.
