Al Amiri added, in statements to Sharjah 24, that the United Nations and the World Health Organization were the ones who gave this race the name “Blue Circle,” noting that the race aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about diabetes. The consultations provide free medical examinations to the participants.
Held on Sunday at Al Hira Beach, Al Amiri announced that the race raised money for charity meant “Tarahum for Gaza” campaign in cooperation with the Big Heart Foundation.
