Sharjah24: SEWA hosts an energy conservation workshop for Central Region children. The Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) hosted a seminar for children in the Central Region's Al-Rafiea Kindergarten.
In keeping with the authority's mandate to educate the public, the event promoted energy efficiency and responsible resource management.
Eighty children listened as Engineer Afra Al-Ketbi gave them advice on how to save on their utility bills. Qaturah and Kahrub, mascots for energy saving, were also there to help get children excited about putting their new knowledge into practice.
The authority places a strong emphasis on educating people in the Central Region on energy conservation practices and efficient resource utilisation, as indicated by Engineer Khalifa Mohammed Al Tunaiji, the Director of the Central Region Department.
