Sharjah24: As part of its development and service plan in Sharjah, the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) has successfully installed 497 new streetlight poles and extended 24 kilometers of electrical cables. This initiative aims to improve street lighting in the primary inner streets of Al Rahmaniya suburb, thereby enhancing security, safety, aesthetics, and urban development in the region.
Engineer Ahmed Al Bass, the Deputy Director of SEWA's Electricity Distribution Department, clarified that the installation of the new poles in Al Rahmaniya suburb represents the initial phase of SEWA's ongoing efforts to execute its strategic plan. This plan is aimed at providing comprehensive street lighting throughout the emirate and delivering top-notch services to both citizens and residents. He stressed the authority's commitment to completing lighting projects in various areas, particularly residential ones, where work has already been initiated. The authority is diligently working on connecting lighting to ensure everyone's satisfaction, with a particular focus on illuminating the primary inner streets within residential neighbourhoods.
