SEWA runs new power transmission station in Al Suyoh

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) announced the start of operating the Masar-1 power transmission station (11/33 kilovolts) in the Tilal area in Al Suyoh suburb.
The station is considered one of the main stations in the “Masaar” project, which Arada implemented under the supervision of SEWA.

The total cost of implementing the station amounted to AED21 million. All tests and operations were completed successfully.

Engineer Hamad Al Taniji, Director of the Energy Transmission Department at SEWA, explained that the goal of operating the station is to feed one of the essential large investment projects in Sharjah, provide electrical energy, and ensure its sustainability in the commercial and residential area.

He pointed out that the station consists of 3 transmitters, each with a capacity of 20 MV, three 33 kV breakers, and twenty-seven 11 kV breakers.
