Sharjah 24: Registration is now open for the "Sharjah Sports Council Run" event, scheduled for Sunday, October 8th at Sharjah Safari.
This event aims to engage 400 participants of both genders across various age groups, promoting the idea of community sports.
The event is being organised in collaboration with "Al Qudra" Sports Services Company and other supporting entities.

The race categories include a 10-kilometer run, a 5-kilometer run open to citizens of all genders, a 2.5-kilometer open category for both men and women, and an 800-meter race for young participants.
The first race kicks off at 6:45 AM, followed by subsequent races at 5-minute intervals. Every participant will receive a commemorative medal featuring the event logo, while the top three finishers will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals.
Yasser Omar Al Dukhi, the Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at the Sharjah Sports Council, highlighted that the Sharjah Sports Council Run is an annual standout event for the Council, consistently attracting enthusiastic participation.
He expressed, "This year, we have chosen the picturesque Sharjah Safari in Al Dhaid city as our venue, adding a delightful element to the event. Our goal is to diversify event locations across various cities in the Emirate to contribute to tourism promotion comprehensively."
Al Dukhi extended a warm invitation to running enthusiasts of all age groups to be part of this event.
