The forum was announced by Eman Turki, Head of the Department of Support for Associations' Programmes at the Health Education Administration of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah.
The event brought together professionals and experts from the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries, Arab countries, regionally, and across the globe to assist breastfeeding institutions and organisations.
Turki stressed that the forum's final conclusions highlighted the need to encourage and facilitate breastfeeding among working women. It also emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts among those involved in order to increase breastfeeding rates, support mothers in their efforts to breastfeed their children, encourage strong family bonds, and create a safe and healthy society in which all people can thrive.
