Sharjah Police's comprehensive security plan succeeds during Eid

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) confirmed the success of its comprehensive security plan, to receive the blessed Eid Al Adha holiday in all cities of the Emirate, from June 27 to July 2, by reaching zero traffic accidents and deaths in the Emirate, whereas the call centre in the central operations room received 22825 phone calls on the number 999 designated for emergency cases.
The SPGC continued to provide services to the public to enhance the quality of life and provide all means of comfort for citizens, residents and visitors during the blessed Eid Al Adha holiday, by providing 2629 services through its digital channels, and securing the movement of 102620 passengers through the airport arrivals and departures halls in coordination with partners in the Sharjah International Airport. 

The SPGC secured 13 activities during the blessed Eid Al Adha in different Sharjah cities by intensifying patrols on the internal and external roads, and specialised teams, in addition to implementing 8 community activities for affiliates that aimed to promote the concepts of happiness and positivity, which reflects on productivity in the police and security work system

The Sharjah Police praised the readiness of its security personnel in the operations room and all field police units in patrols deployed in all cities of Sharjah that had the greatest impact on the success of the comprehensive security plan, noting that community awareness reflected the cooperation between members of the public and the police services, which played an effective role in achieving the objectives of the SPGC in enhancing security, safety and quality of life for community members during the blessed Eid holiday.
