Sharjah 24: Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, received a delegation from the National Search and Rescue Centre (NSCRC) of the UAE Presidential Guard, headed by Rashid Ahmed Al Naqbi, Deputy Director General of NSCRC to discuss ways of communication in relation to search and rescue.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the Central Operations at Sharjah Police; Colonel Dr. Ali Belzud, Deputy Director General of the Central Operations; Mohammed Ali Amer Al Habsi, Director of Operations Department at NSCRC; Colonel Juma Salem Al Zaabi, Director of the Main Operations Centre at the Ministry of Interior; and a number of officers and officials from both sides.

Brigadier General Abdullah bin Amer welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing the Sharjah Police's keenness to strengthen cooperation and coordination with different government agencies and institutions in the UAE, and to develop operations enhancing the quality of life for the UAE community.  

Brigadier General Abdullah bin Amer praised the efforts of NSCRC in strengthening and unifying the security capabilities in the UAE to ensure the highest levels of search and rescue services in accordance with the highest international safety standards.

During the meeting, Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the Central Operations, emphasised the readiness and keenness of Sharjah Police to raise the level of coordination in joint planning through exchanging experiences, coordinating efforts, and developing plans and methodologies to achieve the highest levels of readiness.

The meeting was attended by Colonel Pilot Dr. Saeed Gharib Al Mazrouei, Director of the Police Air Wing, Colonel Mualla Humaid Ahmed Al Mualla, Director of Operations Department at the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, along with a number of specialised officers.

At the end of the visit, both parties exchanged commemorative shields.
