The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to improve collaboration between the two organisations and raise standards of performance in the cutting-edge sciences in light of the exponential pace of technological progress. The event also sought to gain insight from Sharjah Police's participation in the 100 Programmers.
Major Hamid Khalfan Al-Kindi, Chairman of the Sharjah Police Youth Council, and other representatives of the Sharjah Digital Office were present at the meeting. Also present were former members of the Sharjah Police Youth Council's 100 Programmers.
During the meeting, Al-Shamssi stressed the significance of investing in human capital in order to improve digital services in the security sector. This could be done by training and educating specialists in cutting-edge technologies.
He praised the Sharjah Digital Office's plans to strengthen the principle of government function integration in order to improve the Emirate's digital infrastructure.
The Sharjah Police Youth Council held a coordination meeting during the event, where they shared their thoughts on the 100 Programmers project.
Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al-Qasimi thanked the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police for the gracious hospitality and lauded the police department's efforts to look ahead by implementing innovative, high-quality programmes that back the goals of the enlightened government's security reform push towards digitalization.
