Rubu’ Qarn programmers win gold in WAICY competition

Sharjah 24: Programmers of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators represented by the Sharjah Children achieved first place and a gold medal in the WAICY (World Artificial Competition for Youth) in the primary category of the competition, which was held remotely via the competition platform from 3 to 4 December 2022,and organised by Ready Al in the United States of America.
Approximately 60 projects and teams participated in the global competition, and qualified for the final rounds, including (17) projects from the primary category. The participating teams presented their projects to the jury on the competition platform, all of which focused on artificial intelligence technologies and a set of ideas and solutions to problems facing society in various fields.

In this regard, Khawla Al Hawai, Acting Director of Sharjah Children, said: "We are pleased with the results achieved by the affiliates of Sharjah Children and their obtaining the first positions in the WAICY. This achievement is thanks to the support of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators.”
