The event included the distribution of free vouchers to female employees in recognition of their efforts. In addition, SFRA presented corporate gifts to both its male and female staff as a gesture of appreciation for the active role women play in the institutional work environment.
On this occasion, Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazin, Chairman of the Sharjah Fish Resources Authority (SFRA), said, “On Emirati Women’s Day, we reaffirm our steadfast commitment to supporting and empowering women in the workplace. We take pride in the tangible efforts of our female employees at SFRA in particular, and we value the remarkable achievements of Emirati women across all fields, which have contributed to elevating the nation’s standing and advancing sustainable development. Today, Emirati women are a cornerstone in building the present and shaping the future, and we celebrate their dedication and service to society and the nation.”
In parallel, SFRA published a video on its official social media platforms featuring a number of its employees expressing their pride in, and support for, the contribution of Emirati women and their active role in the workplace. This initiative forms part of SFRA’s ongoing efforts to foster a culture of appreciation and respect for women’s roles and to enhance community engagement in national occasions with developmental and social dimensions.
