Fatima Hassan, Director of Contracts at the Works Department, welcomed the delegates and emphasised the importance of the workshop in exchanging experiences and demonstrating the best practices and approaches used in the construction industry.
The workshop's presenter, Eng. Nahid Younes from Berger Paints Emirates, stated that the different insulation systems must be inspected and maintained on a regular basis to avoid misuse. He said that not telling people about these technologies could have big effects on the environment and on people's safety.
At the end of the workshop, attendees recommended that the concerned authorities in the field of construction and maintenance organise joint workshops and events in order to exchange experiences and learn about best construction practices and strategies to expand current projects and initiatives.
