Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) has completed land-leveling works in areas 1 to 6 in the Al Quttaineh area in Al Muhathab, which includes about 3,000 housing units for citizens.
Ahmed Obaid Al Hamoudi, engineer of the land-leveling project in the Al Quttaineh area at SDPW, confirmed that such efforts come in implementations of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide decent livelihoods for citizens.
He added to “Sharjah 24” that such efforts encompass about 3,000 homes, and the project duration was 9 months, and the most important challenges faced in the project was the presence of Ghaf trees, as a specialised company was appointed to move the trees to the neighbouring areas of the Sharjah Safari.
He indicated that the SDPW is preparing to start the second phase of the project in cooperation with all service departments.
