AQU concludes Intl Forum on Islamic Banking Jurisprudence

Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) was concluded on Monday, the Fourth International Forum on Islamic Banking Jurisprudence, which was held at its Theater in the presence of Jamal Salem Al Tarifi, President of Al Qasimia University, Prof. Dr. Awwad Al Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, and a number of officials from the Emirates Foundation for School Education, and sponsored by Sharjah Islamic Bank.
The opening ceremony of the forum began with a welcoming speech by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mansoori, Director of the Sharjah Center for Islamic Economics and Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Forum, in which he welcomed the renewed cooperation with the Emirates Foundation for School Education in organising this important event that provides what teachers and students of Islamic financial transactions need to know.

Dr. Al-Mansoori explained that the Sharjah Islamic Economic Center is keen on the clarity of its mission to link the labor market with the developments of the Islamic digital economy and finance, as well as the rehabilitation and development of human resources in the Islamic digital economy and finance.

This was followed by a speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Awwad Al-Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, in which he indicated that the organisation of the Fourth International Forum in Islamic Banking Jurisprudence is a reflection of the university’s role in communicating with one of the specialized institutions of society and linking scientific research with it to the needs of its manpower through the knowledge that enables it to enhance its ability to give according to programs designed specifically for it.

After that, three scientific sessions were presented, which included working papers that discussed various applied and professional work topics in Islamic banks.
