Sharjah24: His Excellency Jamal Al Tarifi, Head of Al Qasimia University (AQU), chaired the first meeting in 2022 of the heads of the advisory councils of the faculties of Al Qasimia University, aiming to discuss all plans and programs to ensure achieving remarkable development in the AQU’s academic work, as well as improving communication opportunities with the community and the university’s partners in various fields.
The meeting, which was held at the University's headquarters in the city of Sharjah, was attended by Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, in the presence of several dignitaries.

At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees extended their thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his great and continuous support to the University and its five faculties, expressing great pride for his generous support and empowerment for the development of the university in all areas.

His Excellency Jamal Al Tarifi thanked and praised the heads and members of the advisory councils of the University’s colleges for their voluntary roles, highlighting their keenness in advancing the roles of the colleges and supporting its various academic programs .

After that, a number of topics on the meeting's agenda were discussed, reviewing the work of the advisory councils for the coming period and developing the university's relations with various community institutions, especially in the fields of training and scientific research.

The attendees discussed opportunities of exchanging available experiences and knowledge available at the university with the community institutions,  in line with its goals and aspirations.
