Sharjah24: His Excellency Prof. Awwad Al-Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, received in his office Dr. Ahmed Kawesa Singendo, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), where they discussed joint aspects of cooperation and ways to enhance communication between the University and OIC.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Hassan Al-Malakh, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Zakaria Noah, Director of the Office of International Relations and Student Attraction.
During the meeting, Al-Khalaf presented an overview of the university and the unlimited support provided by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, founder of Al Qasimia University, and his follow-up to all stages of the university's development and support to become one of the leading universities at all local, regional and global levels.
While His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Kawesa conveyed the greetings of the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to the Rector of the University, and briefed him on all its roles as an international organisation that brings together fifty-seven Islamic countries, and its activities and events in the social, political and economic fields.
