Sharjah 24: Within the framework of the activities of UAE Innovation Month, Al Qasimia University (AQU), as part of its participation and contribution to supporting the objectives of the month, organised a lecture on innovation and innovators.
His Excellency Dr. Awad Hussain Al Khalaf, Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, highlighted the importance of innovation and its role in raising the status of nations and civilisations, explaining its causes and means, and indicating the aspects of support provided by the UAE to creators and inventors from all over the world.
The lecture proceedings were attended by a number of members of the academic and administrative bodies and a group of male and female students.
His Excellency Al Khalaf touched on the great role played by Islamic scholars in various fields, presenting discoveries useful for humanity, in medicine, astronomy, optics, chemistry, aviation, physics, mathematics and geography.
