Sharjah 24: The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Qasimia University (AQU) set up a free creative studio for its female students residing in the dormitory, as part of the university’s activities to develop the young talents of its students, during the summer vacation period.
The students participated in drawing many landscapes, with very beautiful visual forms, using brushes and watercolours.
The works were distinguished by a remarkable diversity in artistic methods, which were characterised by experimental art and the overlapping and blending of colours.
Prof. Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Acting Chancellor of Al Qasimia University (AQU), stressed the importance of the university, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, continuing its work on developing student talents and refining their abilities in various fields, especially in the art of drawing, by organising several courses for female students residing in the dormitory.
Prof. Dr. Al Khalaf added that the female students’ participation in the studio comes in the context of the university’s vision, to ensure the enrichment of the artistic potential of the students, and the development of their abilities.
