Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) organised a training course for residential supervisors under the title "The Art of Managing Behavioural Attitudes", under the supervision of the Guidance and Psychological Support Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs.
By organising the training course for the residential supervisors, Al Qasimia University continues its qualifying courses, which coincide with its plan to qualify all functional cadres on the latest programs and inform them of the best experiences in their various fields of specialisation.
The course reflects the AQU’s keenness to improve the skills of the residential supervisors, lauding their great role and distinguished efforts to deal with various students from different nationalities.
During the training course, the lecture was presented by Ishraqa Awad, the psychological counselor at the Guidance and Psychological Support Department of the Deanship of Student Affairs.
The course included a theoretical presentation and explanation in addition to practical training on some models and methods for managing behaviour in different behavioural situations and how to monitor and follow up on the behaviours
Awad discussed topics related to the title of the course, which included the role of the supervisor in helping students psychologically and socially, and how to manage the different behavioural situations.
