Sharjah 24: Prof. Ata Hassan Abdulrahim, Dean of the College of Communication at Al Qasimia University (AQU), confirmed that the college cooperated with a number of entities in organising its events for the year 2021, such as: Sharjah Government Media Bureau in the Professional Work Shadow Programme, Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, and Sharjah Media City (Shams).
In statements to "Sharjah 24", Prof. Abdulrahim indicated that the aim of these events is to hone students with many skills because the future is the future of skills, adding, "We organised many dialogue sessions, including a session with His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Teleworking Application. In addition to, Dr. Farida Al Hosani, the official spokesperson for the health care sector in the UAE, and Ahmed Bin Ali, Etisalat Group's Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications, to introduce these inspiring personalities to young people."
Prof. Abdulrahim concluded by stating: "We concluded the academic year with the organisation of the Student Media Forum, with the participation of 18 universities from 13 Arab countries. On the sidelines of the forum, we launched two awards, the first for scientific research and the other for community service."
