MOE renews accreditation of bachelor's degree programs at AQU

Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University (AQU), represented by the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, and the College of Communication, obtained the renewal of the accreditation of its academic bachelor's degree programs, based on the evaluation of the Academic Accreditation Commission at the Ministry of Education (MOE).
The Commission for Academic Accreditation issued a decision to renew the accreditation of the Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language and Literature, the Bachelor of Sharia and Islamic Studies, and the Bachelor of Arts in Media, ensuring the achievement of learning outcomes, institutional effectiveness and practices at the University’s colleges. Commenting on this, Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Acting Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, has underscored the importance of the renewal of the academic accreditation, stressing that it comes in fulfillment of the directives and vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and president of Al Qasimia University. Al Khalaf praised the academic achievement of the University, contributing in achieving this prestigious academic level in different areas and aspects, in accordance with its vision and objectives. For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdel Hakim Mustafa Al-Sharqawi, Dean of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, stressed that the college implemented a plan to develop its curricula based on teaching and learning strategies in the latest forms to serve the college’s vision and mission in the field of Sharia sciences and Islamic studies.
Dr. Hassan Al-Malakh, Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at Al Qasimia University, expressed the college’s pride in renewing the accreditation in light of the Bachelor's program plan at various levels.
Commenting on this, Prof. Dr. Atta Hassan Abdel Rahim, Dean of the College of Communication at AQU indicated that the new outputs of the Bachelor of Arts in Media program are based on acquiring media skills that keep pace with the rapid technological developments.
