Sharjah24: The College of Communication at Al Qasimia University (AQU) obtained the renewal of the accreditation of the Bachelor of Arts in Media programme from the UAE Ministry of Education, based on the evaluation of the Academic Accreditation Commission, which approved the renewal of several programmes at Al Qasimia University, including: The Arts in Media Programme.
The recently renewed Bachelor of Arts in Media programme aimed at preparing a capable graduate in the labor market by possessing the skills that qualify them. The programme also provides the ability to navigate between different relevant career paths in line with the goals and aspirations of the UAE national framework system.
Prof. Dr. Atta Hassan Abdel Rahim, Dean of the College of Communication indicated that the new outputs of the programme highlight the importance of the role of extracurricular activities in the educational process, which contribute to discovering talented people in various media arts, as well as developing their talents and refining their skills.
Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Acting Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, praised the academic achievement of the College of Communication, in which he congratulated everyone for obtaining the renewal of academic accreditation for the Bachelor of Arts in Media programme.
Al Khalaf thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, President of Al Qasimia University, for his guidance and material and moral support, stressing that it is the important factor in achieving progress for the university and its development at various levels.
