Sharjah24: As part of its constant interest to ensure the practical and field training for its students during their academic studies in various disciplines, Al-Qasimia University (AQU) revealed that fifty students from the Faculty of Economics and Administration have enrolled in training programs in a number of government and private agencies.
The field training program for final year students is one of the graduation requirements that aims to support students' capabilities and enhance the applications of theoretical knowledge that they acquired during their studies in a practical way.
The Faculty of Economics and Administration at Al-Qasimia University adopts different intensive training program, contributing in achieving its goals, in light of the university's partnerships with governmental and private institutions.
Professor Mohamed Alshami, Dean of College of Economics And Management at Al Qasimia University emphasised the importance of such practical field training, highlighting their importance in enhancing learning by integrating practice. He added that the training program came in coordination with the University's partners in the two sectors: government and private.
Prof. Awwad Al Khalaf, Acting President of Al Qasimia University (AQU) stressed the importance of the practical training for the students of Al Qasimia University, as it is one of the most important elements of supporting students’ academic and practical experience.
Concluding his statement, Al Khalaf underscored the keenness of Al Qasimia University to train its students within the context of the university requirements for graduation, based on the vision, mission and goals of Al-Qasimia University.
