Sharjah 24: The House of Manuscripts at Al Qasimia University ( AQU) continues to lead in knowledge and culture, welcoming scholars, specialists, and others interested in Islamic history, jurisprudence, and other subjects to benefit from the rare and precious collection of manuscripts it has. Since its inception in 2017, the house has evolved into both a tributary of the cultural intellectual movement and a reservoir of Islamic thought.

With a total size of 2,800 square meters, the two-story building was constructed in the Islamic style. It has several services and technical facilities that meet the most up-to-date international requirements for manuscript preservation. The building houses a collection of priceless manuscripts and documents presented to the house by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

This year, His Highness presented the house with two rare books: " Al-Qanun Fi Al-Tib" by Iban Sina and “Revising Euclid’s origins of Geometry” by Al Tusi.

His Highness continues to add to the house's assets, which now number over 1500 rare original manuscripts, and this year he presented the house with two rare original manuscripts, in addition to a paper copy of a significant historical manuscript and "authentic Spanish records" dating back five centuries and encompassing 23 documents on Muslim concerns in Andalusia, the collection includes information on Inquisition Minutes revealing the nature of charges, sanctions, and cases of torture and intimidation.
