HQA’s Chairman receives Sheikh Nasser Al Qatami

The Chairman of the Academy welcomed Sheikh Nasser Al Qatami and his companions, expressing his happiness at this visit, which comes within the framework of joint cooperation between the academy and the Holy Quran Radio in Sharjah.

He stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships and exchanging experiences between Quranic authorities and institutions, to highlight Sharjah’s role in serving the Quran and its sciences.

His Excellency Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji accompanied Al Qatami and his companions on a tour inside the corridors of the academy, during which he informed them of the existing scientific and research projects. 

He also listened to an explanation about the studios that serve memorisers of the Quran. During the visit, he visited the academy’s museums and viewed the rare manuscripts and collectibles they contain, recounting the history of the writing of the Holy Quran.

For his part, Al Qatami said that the academy represents an important cultural achievement, with its grand edifice and great message, and places a unique imprint on the map of sciences in Sharjah, pointing out that the academy carries within its corridors creativity, beauty and majesty.

He added, whoever does not visit the Holy Quran Academy has missed a lot, because it includes museums, and scientific and cultural projects that open windows to Quranic sciences, praising the great efforts made by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in supporting this cultural and humanitarian civilisational edifice that extends bridges of knowledge to various countries of the world.

He expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Academy and those in charge of its management, for the generous hospitality and warm reception he witnessed.
