During September, Sajaya is offering a series of innovative programmes, most notably the Psychological First Aid Programme, which focuses on building a strong foundation for self-understanding and dealing with others’ emotions, through practical training that develops emotional support skills and enhances mental health.
Programmes also include specialised workshops to promote national identity, such as the Emirati Etiquette Workshop, which introduces members to the fundamentals of Emirati culture, from greetings and sitting etiquette to the art of hospitality and appropriate dress for each occasion.
In the arts and creativity space, Sajaya offers members the opportunity to participate in fashion and jewelry design workshops, where they create pieces that reflect their personalities and skills. The programme also launched the second edition of the Little Beekeepers Programme, which introduces participants to the methods of preparing beehives and extracting natural honey, with a focus on promoting environmental sustainability principles.
The Fantasy World programme continues to inspire girls through stories and books that take them into worlds of adventure and exploration.
This edition focuses on traditional Emirati stories and proverbs. The World of Arts and Colours programme features multiple workshops in sculpture, ceramics, and graphic design, in addition to a digital painting workshop using modern technologies.
Sports programmes will also continue throughout September, including basketball, volleyball, and swimming. Music and theatre workshops will also be held, as well as activities related to science and technology. These programmes contribute to developing girls' personalities and equip them with integrated skills that combine creativity, knowledge, and physical fitness.
Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah emphasised that these programmes are part of its vision to prepare a promising generation of girls capable of creativity, pride in their national identity, and active participation in society.
