Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Musabeh bin Ahmed Al Teneiji, Chairman of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah (HQA), discussed with His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH), ways to enhance and develop aspects of research and scientific cooperation, and exchange experiences and studies in the sciences of the Holy Quran.
This came during the reception of His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Musabeh bin Ahmed Al Teneiji, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary-General of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, of His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, accompanied by top officials from the university.
His Excellency the Chairman of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah welcomed the university’s chancellor and the accompanying officials, and gave them a detailed explanation of the academy and its scientific and research projects.
His Excellency stressed the importance of scientific studies and research on the Holy Quran and its sciences, to which the academy gives all attention and places it at the top of its priorities.
His Excellency also expressed pride in the strategic partnership between the academy and the university, praising the pioneering role played by the university in the academic, research and scientific fields, which contributes to strengthening the research partnership, holding scientific seminars, and exchanging experiences with the academy.
For his part, His Excellency the Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities stressed the strengthening of scientific cooperation with the Holy Quran Academy, the development of academic and research cooperation, and the exchange of experiences between the two sides.
His Excellency added that the academy is a major scientific and religious edifice supported by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as the academy includes many rare manuscripts and collectibles of the Holy Quran, in addition to its scientific projects.
His Excellency maintained that the academy is a cultural and scientific edifice of the Holy Quran. It explains its history, and the values, morals, tolerance and love it contains.
His Excellency the Chairman of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, His Excellency the Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, and the accompanying officials, took a tour inside the corridors of the academy, during which they were briefed on the existing scientific and research projects.
His Excellency the Chancellor of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities and the accompanying officials expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Chairman of Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, and those in charge of its management, for the warm reception, and the two sides exchanged souvenirs.
It is noteworthy that the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah and Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities organised several activities and exhibitions, including a scientific events that talks about the Holy Quran and its role in promoting social values.
