As part of its participation, the department delivered a series of awareness and guidance workshops in Arabic to empower students and guide them towards academic and professional pathways expected to be in demand in the future job market. The workshops also helped students identify their interests and abilities and select suitable university majors.
The department held three workshops during the exhibition.
The first, titled “How Do I Shape My Future Specialisation?”, focused on guiding secondary school students to make informed academic decisions to support a smooth transition from school to university and into professional life.
The workshop highlighted four key elements that come together to inform and sustain a decision: interests, abilities, market opportunities and personal values.
The second workshop, “Academic Success: A Roadmap to Excellence”, aimed to develop students’ leadership skills and raise awareness of the importance of social responsibility in their future careers.
It emphasised that every hour students spend gaining knowledge or developing a skill is an investment that enhances their value in the future job market and strengthens their prospects with major companies. The workshop also highlighted that excellence begins in the classroom, which serves as a training ground, and that academic achievement can open the door to promising career opportunities.
The third workshop, “Leadership and Community Impact”, focused on promoting the principles of impactful leadership and encouraging students to use their personal skills to leave a positive mark on their communities.
It also highlighted the importance of leadership thinking as a key foundation for future success in the job market, where employers increasingly seek not only academic qualifications but also proactive leaders capable of driving innovation and creating tangible impact in the workplace.
