The programme targets 410 job seekers from various cities across the Emirate of Sharjah in its current plan running from July to December 2026. It involves six months of on-the-job training in government entities, alongside a range of supporting qualification programmes, aimed at enhancing participants’ readiness for the labour market. Each trainee will receive a financial stipend of AED 6,000 throughout the programme period.
The initiative provides an integrated qualification system by directly placing national job seekers within government entities to gain practical experience, in addition to enrolling them in intensive specialised courses designed to equip them with the administrative, technical and behavioural skills required in the labour market.
His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Human Resources Department, stated that the launch of the third cohort reflects the wise vision and directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, who places citizens at the forefront of development priorities and believes that investing in people is the emirate’s true wealth.
He added that the continued preparation and field qualification of national cadres to meet labour market needs reflects the generous support provided by the leadership to ensure a dignified life for citizens and to enable them to acquire specialised field experience.
He also praised the pivotal role of strategic partners, noting that the continued success of the programme and its outcomes would not have been achieved without the exceptional cooperation and fruitful partnership of all government institutions, departments and authorities in the Emirate of Sharjah. These entities have demonstrated strong national awareness of their responsibility towards empowering job seekers and ensuring participants transition from training into effective employment positions, efficiently filling vacancies.
