SDHR organises Khorfakkan Forum for govt HR development

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) organised the Khorfakkan Administrative Development Forum for the Government Human Resources System at the Sharjah Maritime Academy in Khorfakkan with the participation of representatives from government entities.

Enhancing communication and employee awareness

The forum was organised to strengthen communication with government employees, promote job-related knowledge, and raise awareness of the benefits and incentives available to Sharjah Government employees with the aim of enhancing the systems and regulations of government work.

Presentation on employee benefits and job affairs

The forum featured an introductory presentation delivered by Mohammed Ali Al Ketbi, Head of the Legal Consultations Section at the Sharjah Department of Human Resources . During the presentation, he highlighted the key benefits and incentives available to Sharjah Government employees, in addition to addressing several topics related to employment affairs.

Commitment to human capital development

His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the SDHR, affirmed that the Government of Sharjah places great importance on human resources development, driven by its belief in the value of investing in and empowering national talent. He noted that national competencies are the cornerstone of improving government performance and enhancing the sustainability of development.

Al Zaabi added that organising such forums reflects the department’s commitment to fostering direct communication with employees and increasing their awareness of employment regulations and benefits, thereby supporting job stability and improving the quality of the government work environment.
