The programme reflects the council’s commitment to strengthening the role of the family as the primary partner in shaping children’s character and supporting their educational journey. He added that strengthening this role reinforces the education system and promotes greater integration between families, schools and the wider community in developing students’ character and potential.

The council noted that the Family Excellence Pioneers programme is one of its ongoing community initiatives in support of the Year of the Family.
